Sarah Corp, Packaging Division Executive Director for
Clear Seas Research, will present “The Impact of the Economy on Collaborative Package Innovation Initiatives” at the 2009 Summit Meeting to be held February in Clearwater, Florida.
Awareness of how the current economic climate will play out in the coming year is important to understanding the risks and opportunities present on the packaging innovation horizon.
This session introduces original research findings on the impact of:
- Economic conditions on general and sustainable packaging initiatives,
- Changes in current and future (projected) expenditures on product innovation efforts,
- Consumer confidence/spending on new product/packaging development projects,
- Supplier/converter price increase pass-throughs on new product/package initiatives.
Practical advice will be provided on which initiatives to pursue in these difficult times, the primary de-railers of innovation and the factors that will have the greatest overall business impact in the coming year.
The 22nd Annual Summit Meeting is a business strategy and networking event where packaging leaders gather to learn and strategize on the drivers of innovation across the business of package technologies, processes and supply chain solutions. For more information visit:
